Position Details
Job Title: Senior Design Engineer
Experience Required: 4 to 8 Years
Job Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. – Mechanical)

What We Are Looking For in an Ideal Candidate
We are searching for professionals who have a deep understanding of automotive engineering and design and a strong technical background in interior trims. Specifically, the candidate should possess:
1. Experience in Automotive Engineering and Design
A solid background in automotive product development is a must.
Candidates should have experience in working on various stages of vehicle design and development, from concept to production.
Knowledge of automotive industry standards, materials, and manufacturing processes will be highly valued.
2. Expertise in Interior Trims
Candidates should have strong domain knowledge in designing automotive interior trims, specifically:
Cockpit systems
Door trims
Instrument panel
Understanding of different materials used in interior trim components, including plastics, composites, and soft-touch materials.
Familiarity with the challenges of designing interior components, including fit, finish, ergonomics, and safety standards.
3. Proficiency in UG-NX / CATIA V5 or V6
UG-NX and CATIA V5/V6 are widely used design tools in the automotive industry.
Candidates should be comfortable using these software tools for 3D modeling, drafting, assembly design, and surface design.
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is an added advantage.
