Role: Territory Manager – Retail Sales


We are looking for passionate and result-oriented professionals who can drive sales, develop strong relationships with customers, and contribute to the company’s overall business growth. As a Territory Manager – Retail Sales, you will play a key role in expanding our market presence, engaging with retailers and users, and ensuring smooth operations in your designated territory.


Key Responsibilities


As a Territory Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:


1. Sales & Demand Generation


Achieve sales targets and ensure consistent revenue growth.


Identify new business opportunities and expand the retailer network.


Develop and implement sales strategies to increase product penetration in the market.


Work closely with existing retailers and onboard new ones to enhance distribution.




2. User & Retailer Engagement


Build strong relationships with retailers and customers to drive brand loyalty.


Conduct regular visits to retail outlets and user locations to understand their needs.


Provide technical knowledge and product training to retailers and customers.


Organize product demonstrations and promotional activities to boost sales.




3. Retailer Management & Receivables Collection


Manage a portfolio of retailers and ensure timely stock replenishment.


Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activities to stay ahead.


Ensure timely collections of payments and maintain a healthy receivables cycle.


Address retailer concerns and provide support to resolve any issues efficiently.





Who Can Apply?


We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:


Experience:


Minimum 3 years and maximum 8 years of experience in retail sales, demand generation, or business development.


Experience in handling polymers, adhesives, construction materials, or maintenance products will be preferred.


Prior experience in managing a retailer network and driving sales in the B2C segment is a plus.



Educational Qualification:


Graduate in any discipline (Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields preferred).


MBA will be an added advantage.



Skills & Competencies:


Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Proven ability to build and manage relationships with retailers and end users.


Target-driven mindset with a passion for sales and business growth.


Ability to work independently and manage a designated territory effectively.


Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling challenges.


Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
