About the Role
The Associate Manager – NPD (Composites) will be responsible for leading and supporting new product development projects by conducting lab-scale validations, managing production trials, and working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution. The role requires a strong understanding of composite materials, resin formulations, and manufacturing processes to develop high-performance products for various industries.

Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate Manager – NPD (Composites), you will be at the forefront of developing innovative composite products and working on projects that contribute to the company's growth and success. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Product Development & Innovation
Lead and support new product development (NPD) initiatives from concept to commercialization.
Conduct lab-scale trials, prototype development, and process optimizations to evaluate and improve composite formulations.
Research and develop advanced resin formulations to enhance the mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties of composites.
Work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth transitions from lab-scale to full-scale production.
2. Manufacturing Process & Scale-Up
Collaborate with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes for composite materials.
Design and execute production trials, document findings, and make necessary improvements to achieve high-quality outcomes.
Evaluate different raw materials, reinforcements, and resin systems to develop high-performance composites.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to understand market requirements and integrate customer feedback into product development.
Work with suppliers and external partners to source the best raw materials and stay updated on the latest industry advancements.
Ensure regulatory compliance and industry standards are met during product development and manufacturing.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed documentation of trial results, formulations, process parameters, and test data for reference and future improvements.
Prepare and present technical reports, product specifications, and project updates to management and stakeholders.
Keep track of industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements to keep our products ahead of the curve.

Who We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Educational Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Polymer, Chemical, Mechanical) is required.
Work Experience
2 to 3 years of experience in composite manufacturing, resin formulation, or new product development is preferred.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of composite materials and their manufacturing processes.
Hands-on experience with resin systems, polymer chemistry, and fiber reinforcements.
Familiarity with lab-scale testing, process optimization, and production trials.
Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to convey technical findings and collaborate with teams effectively.
Proficiency in using analytical tools, data interpretation, and report writing.
Location
This role is based at our Khatraj, Ahmedabad, Gujarat facility, which is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, production units, and research facilities dedicated to developing next-generation composite materials.
